Many industry honchos have had their bite on the ongoing feud between rap icon Sarkodie and embittered dancehall icon Samini.
Back story;
“Samini earlier in twitter “question & answers” session with his fans revealed how embittered he’s on how Sarkodie has been reading his messages about collaborations on Whatsapp without replying them.
But delaying his projects by not replying his messages makes him(Sarkodie) disrespectful.
He added, he once invited Sarkodie to his EP listening session and he didn’t reply his message as well”. He then affirmed he will not ask for a verse from him and if Sarkodie ask him for one, he won’t do.
Sarkodie, who’s currently on media tour after his career highlight feature with the late Bob Marley & The Wailers on the 1973 record, “Stir it up”, passed through Hitz FM a day after Samini’s outburst on twitter.
On Hitz FM with Andy Dosty, Sarkodie touched on main issues but was quite evasive with the accusations from Samini.
During the interview, Andy Dosty had his producers called Samini to talk about the issue while Sarkodie was there.
On the back of that action from Andy Dosty and his producers, many industry players think calling Samini on the show took away the purpose of why Sarkodie was there.
Adding to the list of those who registered their displeasure is the Founder of “3 Music Awards” & “Wildland Festival”, Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu.
According to Sadiq, Sarkodie was clearly disappointed in that action from Andy Dosty and his producers and emphasized that, the media sometimes drop the ball just for clouts at the expense of the artist’s intended PR impact.
His remarks came on twitter after Sammy Flex, an entertainment journalist, shared his view on how disappointment he saw Sarkodie when Samini was called and noted how emotionally intelligent Sarkodie was.
