Political figure Joseph Cudjoe represents the Effia Constituency in the Western Region as a representative of the New Patriotic Party in the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.
On January 7, 2013, Hon Cudjoe was elected to the legislature. In the general elections of 2020, he was re-elected to represent the constituency, and he anticipates heading the party once more in the elections of 2024.
Since he was elected as the MP, Cudjoe, who was born and raised in Effia, has been organizing a football league for the neighborhood.
On Radio 360 Sports, he claimed to have spent GHC 130,000 on the Effiakuma Community League, whose games are often held at the Police Park at Effiakuma.
The league is played every year, and it has already begun this year.
