President Akufo-Addo has revealed that the government’s Agenda 111 Hospital Projects will generate approximately 67,000 job opportunities upon completion.
Emphasizing the project’s significance, the President highlighted that each hospital will employ over 100 people, making Agenda 111 a transformative initiative.
During the commissioning of the Adansi North Hospital in Fomena, Ashanti Region, President Akufo-Addo reaffirmed the government’s commitment to completing the hospitals.
The President provided a breakdown of the employment opportunities, stating that:
- Each construction site currently employs an average of 120 workers
- Upon completion, each district hospital will employ an average of 559 persons
- Each regional hospital will employ an average of 1,343 persons
- Each psychiatric hospital will employ an average of 947 persons
This totals to approximately 67,635 job opportunities in the Agenda 111 Hospitals, demonstrating the government’s dedication to creating employment and improving healthcare infrastructure.
The inauguration of the Fomena Hospital marks a major achievement for the Agenda 111 hospital project, which aims to increase healthcare accessibility and quality across the country.
