Former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Samuel Yaw Adusei, has sounded a warning to members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against becoming complacent in their efforts to secure victory in the 2024 elections.
Adusei emphasized the party’s goal of securing 35% of votes in the upcoming elections and urged party members to unite in support of flagbearer John Dramani Mahama and parliamentary candidates.
He stressed that the NDC is the only hope for Ghanaians to rescue the country from what he described as poor economic management under the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Adusei made these remarks during a presentation of two motorbikes and an undisclosed amount of money to the Bantama Constituency branch of the NDC to boost their electoral activities.
Adusei emphasized that the Ashanti region is a crucial battleground for the 2024 general elections and called on all party members to come on board and work towards achieving their target.
He warned that complacency is not an option, as the NPP is targeting 85% of votes in the region.
Bantama Parliamentary candidate Kwadwo Addai Dapaah promised to work hard to secure the seat for the party, thanking Adusei for his support.
He assured that the motorbikes and funds received would be utilized effectively to enhance the NDC’s campaign activities in the constituency and guard against complacency, ultimately leading to a decisive victory for the party in the 2024 elections.
