Election 2024: Vote wisely and responsibly – Catholic Bishops’ to Ghanaians

The Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference has issued a call to action for all eligible voters to exercise their democratic rights with wisdom, responsibility, and a deep sense of national duty.
In a statement, the Conference emphasized the importance of informed voting, urging citizens to thoroughly understand the policies and platforms presented by political parties before casting their ballots.

Most Rev. Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi, national president of the Bishops’ Conference, addressed the nation, stressing the need for educated decision-making at the polls.
He encouraged Ghanaians to carefully examine the promises and initiatives proposed by each party for national development, ensuring their votes align with their vision for a better Ghana.

The Bishops’ Conference underscored that the future of Ghana lies in the hands of its citizens, and their votes will shape the country’s direction in the coming years.
They emphasized that every vote is a powerful tool for shaping the nation’s future, and it should be cast with careful consideration and respect for the democratic process.

The Conference’s appeal is part of their ongoing efforts to promote peaceful and constructive elections, contributing positively to Ghana’s progress and the welfare of its citizens.

By encouraging informed voting, the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference aims to empower Ghanaians to make wise decisions that will benefit the nation as a whole.
