Kotoko management visits late Atsu’s family

Kumasi Asante Kotoko management led by CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah, visited the family of late Christian Atsu’s family to commiserate with them.

Nana Yaw Amponsah was there with the teams Communications Director, David Obeng Nyarko.

The CEO also joined other personalities who signed the book of condolence open to Atsu.

The former Ghanaian international met his tragic demise in a 7.7 magnitude of earthquake which hit Turkey and Syria, 45,000 lives were claimed by the disaster which happened on February 6.

He spent almost 2 weeks under the rubble. News flew in first that he was found and being treated at the hospital but it was a mistaken identity, it appears.

He was found and confirmed dead on February 18, and his remains was returned to Ghana in the late hours of Sunday, February 19.

One week observation is scheduled to be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
