Patricia Asiedua, also known as Nana Agradaa, appeared in court on Thursday, July 18, and was granted bail in the amount of GH¢200,000, with the requirement of two justified sureties.
The court appearance is related to charges of possessing and distributing indecent materials, as well as making derogatory comments about explicit images of a prophet.
According to the case details, Nana Agradaa allegedly displayed the explicit images on her television station, Thunder TV, now rebranded as Today’s TV, in 2021.
Additionally, she is accused of distributing the images by labeling them on a beverage (bitters) for sale.
The court has set conditions for Nana Agradaa’s bail, requiring her to provide two sureties who will be responsible for ensuring her appearance in court.
