Official: Gavi Signs New Barcelona Contract Until 2030

Barcelona midfield sensation Gavi has officially committed his future to the club, signing a new contract that will keep him at the Camp Nou until 2030.

The 20-year-old joins a growing list of Barcelona stars securing long-term deals, following recent extensions by Ronald Araujo and Pedri. His new contract also retains the staggering €1 billion release clause, reinforcing the club’s determination to keep him amid interest from Europe’s top clubs.

“I’m very happy to commit to the club of my life,” Gavi said after signing the deal, highlighting his loyalty to the Blaugrana.

Barcelona’s contract renewal spree is expected to continue, with veteran centre-back Iñigo Martínez next in line. Meanwhile, 17-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal has already confirmed his intention to extend his contract, with an agreement set to be formalized when he turns 18 in July 2025.

The club’s strategy to secure its young core underlines its long-term vision as Barcelona looks to build a competitive squad for the future.
