In an announcement that carries a mix of disappointment and understanding, Hasaacas Ladies regretfully informed their supporters and the football community that their Women’s Premier League (WPL) Week 3 fixture against LadyStrikers, initially slated for November 13, has been postponed.

The unforeseen obstacle comes in the form of renovation works rendering Gyandu Park in Sekondi unavailable for the scheduled match.

The Gyandu Park, a significant venue for football enthusiasts, is undergoing renovation, a positive development for the facility, but a setback for the upcoming fixture.

To ensure the safety and optimal conditions for players, the decision was made to postpone the game.

The clash between Hasaacas Ladies and LadyStrikers, eagerly anticipated by fans, will now take place on November 22, 2023, following the completion of the renovation period at Gyandu Park.

The rescheduled date allows both teams to prepare for the match and ensures that the game maintains its competitive edge when played at the same venue.

In a statement, Hasaacas Ladies expressed regret for any inconveniences caused by the change in schedule, emphasizing the importance of renovation works for the long-term benefit of Gyandu Park.

The club also extended gratitude to supporters for their understanding, urging them to continue rallying behind the team with the hashtag #Dooo.

The announcement adds a layer of flexibility and adaptability to the football calendar, showcasing the commitment of clubs like Hasaacas Ladies to prioritizing the welfare and safety of players.

While the postponement may bring momentary disappointment, the rescheduled fixture promises to deliver an exciting showdown between Hasaacas Ladies and LadyStrikers as they vie for supremacy in the Women’s Premier League.

As football enthusiasts eagerly await the rescheduled clash, the temporary setback serves as a reminder of the dynamic nature of sports schedules and the dedication of clubs to ensuring the best possible conditions for their teams and supporters.

The hashtag #Dooo continues to resonate as a rallying cry for fans to stand by Hasaacas Ladies, reinforcing the bond between the team and its passionate supporters.
