Few days ago, Ghanaian abroad based gospel musician and Rockhill Chapel founder, Rev. Sonnie Badu, spread a sermon which garnered so many reactions.
According to Sonnie Badu, eating pork exposes one to demonic attacks.
Many disagreed with his assertion and the latest voice to be added was that of fellow gospel star, Celestine Donkor.
Sharing her view on the issue, she affirmed spirituality has nothing to do with what humans eat.
“Saying eating pork is demonic is like saying someone is not sensible because of bushy hair as if it’s the hair blocking the sense, so to say some eats pork so he/she is possessed doesn’t make sense, to be honest. If you’re a Christian who go about your life anyhow, sleeping with anyone anyhow, you associate with anyone anyhow, these are the things you should speak against if you want to save lives, because that’s what exposes humans to demonic attacks according to the bible. But to say pork exposes humans to demonic attack has no biblical basis.
I would have agreed if the message was about health risks pork has on humans but attributing it to spiritual attacks is not it”, the “Agbelolo” singer said.
