Peter Cudjo, Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Tema West Constituency, has warned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to desist from intimidating NDC members and supporters in the lead-up to the 2024 elections.
Speaking at the launch of the NDC’s community youth engagement on the 24-hour economy policy in Adjei-Kojo, Tema West Constituency, Cudjo emphasized that the NDC will not tolerate any attempts to suppress their campaign efforts.
He cautioned the NPP to refrain from destroying NDC billboards and removing their posters.
Cudjo stated that the NDC will not be intimidated and will not allow the same tactics used in the past to undermine their campaign.
He urged the NPP to focus on issue-based campaigning rather than resorting to vandalism and intimidation.
The NDC is committed to ensuring a peaceful and fair electoral process, but will take action if their rights are infringed upon.
Cudjo rallied NDC supporters to remain united in their quest to elect Lawyer James Enu as their Member of Parliament for Tema West.
Cudjo’s statement emphasizes the need for a peaceful and respectful electoral process, where all parties can campaign freely without fear of intimidation or vandalism.
