WAEC Releases 2023 Final B.E.C.E Timetable

The West Africa Examination Council have released the final timetable of Basic Education Certificate Examination for Junior High Schools and Private Candidates for 2023.

Per the timetable released, the examination is scheduled to start on Monday, 7th August, and to be completed on Friday, 11th August.
This indicates the examination will take full week.

However, WAEC have indicated key things to be taken note of by the the schools and private candidates.
These include;

  1. Both papers (2&1) for each subject are to be taken at one sitting without a break.
  2. Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from what is on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be followed.
  3. Candidates with visual and hearing impairments are to be allowed an additional 50% of the time given to other candidates.

MONDAY, 7TH AUGUST, 2023.

Duration: 1 hour (9:00 am – 10:00 am)
