The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged all members to rally behind Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, the elected parliamentary candidate for Manhyia South, who won with 337 votes.

In an interview with Citi News, Evans Nimako, NPP’s Director of Elections, emphasized the need for unity and teamwork to secure victory in the December 7 elections.

He declared that Awuah’s victory is a win for the entire Manhyia South constituency and called for a united front to achieve a common goal in the 2024 elections.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is confident that Dr. Bawumia will win the presidency and the party will secure a majority in parliament by winning constituencies like Manhyia South, ensuring a smooth execution of government business.

According to the party, this will put an end to the current 137-137 stalemate in parliament, which has hindered government operations and parliamentary business.

The NPP is optimistic about emerging victorious in the elections and securing a majority of seats in parliament.
