Ghanaian heavyweights, Accra Hearts of Oak SC ahead of the 2023-24 season are without a substantive manager after parting ways with Serbian trainer Slavko Matic in the course of last season.
The club are in search of a new gaffer to lead the team.
Not long ago, their assistant coach David Ocloo also left his post to reunite with his boss Prosper Narteh Ogum at Asante Kotoko SC.
Experienced Ghanaian coach Bashir Hayford has therefore, expressed his interest to take on the vacant Hearts of Oak coaching role.
“Why not? I am ever ready if only they see me as a helper”, he told Mothers FM.
“Look at my pedigree. I don’t know the team that will be difficult for me to coach if given the opportunity. For now, they won’t advertise for you to apply but I am ever ready if only they see me as a helper.”
Coach Bashir Hayford previously managed Asante Kotoko SC and the senior national women’s team of Ghana, Black Queens.
