Ghana Publishing Company Limited, a leading publisher of books, journals, and educational materials, has officially inaugurated its new office in Kumasi.
The ceremony, held on Wednesday, July 17th, was attended by dignitaries, authors, and publishing industry professionals.
The new office, located at SIC House near Jubilee Park, will serve as a hub for the company’s operations in the Ashanti Region and surrounding areas, providing enhanced services to customers, authors, and partners.
Managing Director Mr. David Asante expressed excitement about the expansion, stating, “We are committed to publishing excellence in Ghana, and this new office will help us strengthen our presence in the region.”
The Kumasi office will offer a range of services, including book publishing, printing, and distribution, as well as training and workshops for authors and publishers.
Hon. Joseph Cudjoe, Minister for Public Enterprises and MP for Effia Constituency, commended the Ghana Publishing Company for its contributions to national development, while lamenting the mismanagement of state-owned enterprises.
Hon. Fatimatu Abubakar, Minister of Information, applauded the management of GPCL for the new branch inauguration and encouraged them to expand to all 16 regions to improve accessibility.
The inauguration of the new office marks a significant milestone for Ghana Publishing Company Limited, demonstrating its commitment to publishing excellence and expansion in Ghana.
