Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam will present the 2024 Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament on July 23, 2024.
The review aims to update parliament on the 2024 , budget implementation, provide revised financial plans and offer an updated economic outlook for Ghana.
The presentation will cover economic and fiscal performance for the first half of 2024, growth measures,revenue and expenditure performance and financing and debt sustainability.
This mid-year review will provide valuable insights into Ghana’s economic progress and the government’s financial plans for the remainder of the year.
During the 2024 Mid-Year Budget Review, Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam will also provide an update on the progress of the Post-COVID-19 Programme for Economic Growth (PC-PEG), which is supported by a US$3 billion International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan.
This presentation marks Dr. Amin Adam’s first appearance in Parliament since taking office as Finance Minister in February 2024, in accordance with Section 28 of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921).
He will brief Parliament on the implementation status of the PC-PEG program, highlighting achievements and challenges.
