Beyonce Breaks Georg Solti’s Record For Most Wins in GRAMMYs History

Prior to the 65th GRAMMYs night, many were expecting Beyonce to break the record being held by Georg Solti with her 9 nominations.

Beyonce already had 28 GRAMMYs to her name, and was behind late Hungarian-British conductor, Georg Solti, who was leading as the most awarded artist with 31 Grammys.

After winning the Best Dance/Electronic Music Album, Beyonce became the most awarded artist in GRAMMYs history.

The award which was birthed in 1958 had seen so many great winners and becoming the most awarded artist in history of the scheme is not an easy journey.

In her acceptance speech, Beyonce admitted she didn’t want to be too emotional, she thanked God, her uncle, parents, husband, children and the queer community.
