For the upcoming Premier League season, Peter Drury will join a group of Sky Sports commentators that include Rob Hawthorne, Bill Leslie, Seb Hutchinson, Dan Mann, Gary Weaver, and Ian Crocker. Peter Drury has more than 30 years of expertise in both radio and television.
Martin Tyler, who has led Sky Sports’ Premier League coverage for more than 30 years, will depart the network before the start of the new season. It was revealed on Saturday.
Drury, who has received numerous broadcasting honors, including three of the last four seasons’ Football Supporters’ Association Commentator of the Year. He is already a member of the Comcast family and will remain in his position with NBC, where he will also contribute to their coverage of the Premier League.
Peter Drury said this after signing for signing for Sky Sports: “I’m incredibly thrilled to be joining Sky’s outstanding roster of commentators,” he exclaimed. It seems like the opportunity of my career to be working on the best matches week in and week out with a broadcaster who has chronicled the history of the Premier League from the very beginning, and I can’t wait to get started.

Peter, one of the sport’s most poetic commentators, will contribute a lot of vigor and enthusiasm to our unmatched Premier League coverage in addition to his award-winning broadcasting skills.
Drury has previously worked for the BBC, ITV, Premier League Productions, and BT Sport. In 2020, he was announced the Sports Journalists’ Association Sports Commentator of the Year award.
