Democracy Hub has announced a three-day peaceful demonstration from September 21-23 at Revolutionary Square, opposite the Jubilee House, to address pressing national issues.
The group has formally notified the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, in accordance with the Public Order Act.
The protest, starting at 6:00 am, aims to bring attention to socio-economic injustice, unemployment, rising poverty, state capture, nepotism, corruption, and the need for judicial independence.
Organized by the Convenor of the #FixTheCountry movement and #OccupyJulorbiHouse protests, the demonstration seeks to promote a new constitution for a new generation, symbolizing a call for reform and a better future for all.
The protest, starting at 6:00 AM on September 21 and concluding at 11:59 PM on September 23, aims to highlight socio-economic injustice, unemployment, rising poverty, state capture, nepotism, corruption, and the need for judicial independence.

This upcoming protest follows a similar event organized by the group in September 2023, #OccupyJulorbiHouse, which saw some members arrested by the police.
