Ghanaian powerhouse, Accra Hearts of Oak SC has confirmed the appointment of Dutch manager Rene Hiddick as their technical director.
The Phobians struggled last season with technical abilities, despite changing three managers namely, Samuel Boadu, Slavko Matic and David Ocloo respectively. Following the disappointing nature of the technical team the club has opted to restructure the technical team asuch appointed Dutch manager Rene Hiddick as technical director.
Last season, Hearts of Oak SC made technical ended the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League 12th on the log and nearly suffered relegation due to poor run of form.
On Saturday, July 29, 2023 the Capital-based club announced a new technical team with Rene Hiddick leading as technical director.

The 1955 June born is a Dutch retired footballer who previously worked as assistant coach of the Maldives national football team. Besides the Netherlands, he has managed in Rwanda, Madagascar, and the Maldives.
He has vast experience on the African Continent and comes in with heavy hands.
