John Awuah Otabil joins the Class Media Group

One of the Greater Accra Region’s true sports journalists, John Awuah Otabil, has joined the Class Media Group. With his expertise, energy, and talent, he will be a fantastic asset to the station and a treat for listeners.

Because of his extensive knowledge and appealing demeanor, we anticipate a level of sports, hosting, analysis, and entertainment that is unmatched on the airwaves.

He is now the Head of Sports of CTV and the Host of Accra Fm 100.5 Sports. You may check in for all the latest news, groundbreaking interviews, in-depth analysis with the newsmakers, and all the main sports headlines.

In 2013, Otabil began working full-time in the media space. His first radio station was in Agona Swedru at Obrempong FM 91.7 MHz.

He had a fantastic sports director named Mr. Albert Opoku Forfie Jr. (Dr. Peace).
He went there for practical attachments, but much to everyone’s astonishment, the guy gave him the chance to present sports the very next day after relocating for internship, and he made the most of the chance.

On Monday and Tuesday, he arrived. While there were several individuals in front of him, he was still offering the opportunity.

What specifically was said by the head of sports, SSTVGH.COM enquired. Mr. Albert said to me, “I trust you go and deliver,” in this manner.

He was with them for almost four to five years before leaving in April 2017 to join HSTV in 2018, followed by 2019 and 2020, he then moved to SANKOFA TV, where he stayed for just a year before being hired by BASE ONE TV in September 2021.

Awuah joined the Class Media group in 2023 and has already started work since July 3rd, 2023, at Accra Fm, but he will start CTV Sports on Monday, 31st July, 2023.
