JUST IN: 2023 GHALCA top 4 cancelled

Ghana’s off season tournament often organised by, the Ghana League Clubs Association, GHALCA top 4 has been cancelled.

In a communique sent to the clubs involved on Friday, July 28 2023 confirms the decision taken by the organising body of the tournament, Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA).

GHALCA scheduled to begin the tournament on 6th August 2023 and end 13th August, 2023 with Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium hosting it. But, no more.

The one-week long competition would have seen 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League champions Medeama SC, Bechem United and Aduana Stars join Asante Kotoko SC for the off season competition.

Statement from GHALCA reads;

“We regret to announce the cancellation of this year’s @ghalca top 4 tournament due to circumstances beyond our control

The decision has been communicated to the participating clubs”

“Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted”.
