Manchester United and Chelsea have reached an agreement to purchase Mason Mount for £60 million.
The agreement contains a potential £5 million in add-ons, which are heavily reliant on performance and success. The English international has been extended a five-year deal by United with an additional year option.
Mount, who has one year left on his Stamford Bridge deal, is thought to be interested in joining Erik ten Hag’s team.
Three of United’s initial bids were initially turned down by its Premier League competitors, but the most recent offer had been left on the table and has now been accepted.
