Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the parliamentary candidate for Abura Asebu-Kwamankese on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has strongly condemned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for its glaring inadequacies in developing Ghana’s health infrastructure.
During a televised debate on Channel One TV’s Point of View program on Wednesday, Ofosu lambasted the NPP administration for failing to deliver on its ambitious Agenda 111 initiative, which promised to build 111 new hospitals across the country.
Not a single one of these hospitals has been completed, he emphasized.
In contrast, Ofosu highlighted the significant achievements of the previous NDC administration, led by President Mahama, which successfully built and upgraded numerous healthcare facilities, including 20 polyclinics, over 1,200 Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds, and several regional hospitals.
He further stressed that the NPP government has failed to complete even a single regional hospital since taking office.
