The dualization of the Agona Nkwanta to Takoradi road contract, according to Western Regional Minister Dr. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah has been secured.
At the media launch of the 6th Ghana Hotels Association Awards and Hotel Business Forum in Takoradi on the theme of “Sustaining the Hotel Industry in Ghana Post Covid 19,” on Wednesday, August 23, the Minister announced this.
The road is now in bad shape, and many drivers have bemoaned the lost time spent using it as a result of the heavy traffic congestion they are forced to endure throughout its length due to the numerous potholes in the road.

The Minister gave additional assurances to the people that the government remains dedicated to enhancing the road system in the area.
