In a remarkable initiative that holds the promise of transforming their beloved alma mater, the executives of TTI Alumni (Takoradi Technical Institute Alumni) embarked on a series of visits to key stakeholders in the community.
The primary focus of their visits was the launching of the old students’ association and the momentous sod-cutting ceremony for the school’s main entrance gate.
The distinguished delegation, led by Papa Yenzu Quansah, renowned as the organizer of TATIOSA, included President Gideon Amoah and Deputy Secretary Thomas Stanfan Kwofie.
These dedicated alumni leaders are spearheading an ambitious project that not only celebrates their shared heritage but also aims to leave a lasting legacy at their cherished institution.
One of the highlights of their journey was a visit to the Regional Minister, where they discussed their plans to establish the old students’ association and the momentous sod-cutting ceremony for the school’s main entrance.
The delegation’s enthusiasm and commitment were palpable as they shared their vision with the Regional Minister.
The team’s efforts did not stop there; they also extended their outreach to the EKMA boss, Hon Kojo Acquah, and the TVET Director. Their mission was clear: to garner support from key stakeholders who share their passion for improving the institute.
As part of their outreach, TTI Alumni Executives are now calling upon all former students to join hands and contribute to this transformative project.
They have set a modest financial goal of a minimum of GH100.00, urging every old student to participate and be a part of the positive change they envision for their beloved institution.
This project is a testament to the enduring bond between alumni and their alma mater. It exemplifies the commitment of TTI alumni to give back to the school that helped shape their futures.
The support and contributions of past students will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in the successful realization of their vision for a revitalized main entrance gate.
As the TTI Alumni Executives embark on this inspiring journey, they invite all former students to unite behind this noble cause.
Together, they are poised to leave a lasting mark on their school, and their efforts are a shining example of the enduring spirit of unity, dedication, and shared history among alumni.
The launching and Sod-cutting ceremony will be on the 9th of December 2023 at the school’s premises.
