After both clubs agreed to a transfer record, Lyon has officially announced the signing of Ernest Nuamah.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian international departs FC Nordsjaelland following two successful seasons with the team, during which he was named Player of the Season and Young Player of the Year.

It is no secret that Ernest has drawn a lot of attention in the wake of the significant growth that he and the squad have experienced, not to mention the impressive performances that have been given. Jans Laursen, the sports director for Nordsjaelland, stated, “We have been clear about our aspirations for this season and, as a result, also set a very high bar in relation to a prospective move in this window.

In this regard, an agreement was ultimately struck with multiple clubs, and following discussions with the various clubs, Ernest has made it plain that he wants to continue developing at Olympique Lyonnais. He played 43 games for Nordsjaelland in Danish Superliga and scored 18 goals.
