In a proactive move to enhance security and curb unruly behavior during football matches, Mr. Ransford Antwi, the driving force behind the successful People’s Project at the Sunyani Coronation Park, has announced plans to install CCTV cameras within a week.

The initiative aims to create a safer and more secure environment for football enthusiasts attending matches at the Bono Regional Capital.

In an exclusive interview with Suncity Radio 97.1, Mr. Antwi emphasized the unwavering love for football in Sunyani and expressed determination to address the challenges posed by a few troublemakers.

The decision to install CCTV cameras is part of a broader strategy to deter unruly behavior and ensure that those attempting to disrupt the peace are held accountable.

Mr. Antwi, along with a group of collaborators and the People’s Project Implementation Committee, is spearheading the effort to deploy CCTV cameras at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

The cameras will be strategically placed and monitored by a dedicated police officer during match days. This measure aims to make it significantly more challenging for individuals to engage in unlawful activities during football events.

The installation of CCTV cameras and other smart gadgets is expected to be completed within a week, according to Mr. Antwi.

The initiative sends a strong message that the people of Sunyani are committed to fostering a positive and secure environment for football enthusiasts.

The move comes in response to recent incidents that have tarnished the reputation of the community.

Mr. Antwi, in his interview, highlighted the importance of preserving the joy of football for the people of Sunyani.

He acknowledged that not everyone wishes to see the community thrive and emphasized the need to counteract any attempts to undermine the positive atmosphere surrounding football in the region.

The commitment to putting an end to hooliganism and ensuring the safety of attendees reflects the dedication of Mr. Ransford Antwi and the collaborative efforts of the People’s Project Implementation Committee.

The upcoming installation of CCTV cameras is poised to be a game-changer in reinforcing security measures at the Sunyani Coronation Park, allowing residents to continue enjoying the sport they love.
