In a stunning revelation, it has come to light that Burniton Music Group, led by renowned Reggae-Dancehall artist Stonebwoy, secured the prestigious Accra Sports Stadium for their Bhim Concert in December. Sources reveal that a substantial sum of 70,000 Ghanaian cedis was paid for the exclusive usage of the venue.

The Accra Sports Stadium, typically reserved for sporting events, underwent a unique transformation into a musical haven, hosting the Bhim Concert during the festive season. The event not only showcased Stonebwoy’s musical prowess but also contributed to the closure of the stadium for Christmas programs.

This unexpected turn of events forced football giants Accra Hearts of Oak and Accra Great Olympics to relocate their home games to the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the month of December 2023.

The Bhim Concert, held against the backdrop of the stadium’s closure, left an indelible mark on both music enthusiasts and the sports community.

The collaboration between Burniton Music Group and the Accra Sports Stadium created a unique fusion of entertainment and sports, echoing the vibrancy of Ghana’s cultural scene.

As the curtains closed on the Bhim Concert at the Accra Sports Stadium, the impact of this musical extravaganza reverberated not only through the walls of the venue but also through the unexpected shift in the football landscape.

Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group, through their bold choice of venue, not only elevated the status of the Bhim Concert but also contributed to the cultural tapestry of Accra during the festive season.
