I was instructed to repay 50% of my $100,000 appearance fee from the Qatar World Cup in a specific account – Alhaji Grunsah

In a startling revelation that has sent shockwaves through the football community, Alhaji Grunsah, a former management member of the Black Stars, has made damning allegations against the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Speaking candidly on Angel TV, Grunsah disclosed that he was instructed to repay 50% of his $100,000 appearance fee from the Qatar World Cup into a specific account, despite having signed to receive the full amount as his rightful compensation.

Grunsah, known for his involvement in Ghanaian football, asserted that the unusual request came from a GFA member.

He claimed that, even though he had initially received the appearance fee in full, a subsequent call demanded the repayment of half the amount into a specified account.

Grunsah stated that he complied with the request, but he now intends to expose these financial intricacies with bank evidence to substantiate his claims.

The revelation adds a layer of complexity to the already tense relationship between certain stakeholders and the Ghana Football Association.

The looming demonstration against the Sports Ministry and the GFA gains further significance as these allegations come to light, potentially shedding light on deeper issues within the football administration.

As the football community awaits the unveiling of the bank evidence, the integrity of financial transactions within the GFA is under scrutiny.

Grunsah’s decision to go public with these allegations suggests a willingness to confront perceived injustices and bring transparency to the forefront of the football landscape.

The fallout from these allegations could have far-reaching consequences, influencing public perception of the GFA and prompting calls for investigations into financial practices.

As the story unfolds, the football fraternity braces itself for potential revelations that could reshape the narrative around the aftermath of the Qatar World Cup and the financial dealings within the Ghana Football Association.
