Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) has announced that it will air exclusive video footage related to the shooting of its Director of News, Kofi Adomah, in Dormaa Ahenkro.
The incident, which occurred during his coverage of the Kwafie Festival in December 2024, left the renowned broadcaster with life-threatening injuries and has sparked widespread concern and controversy.
Kofi Adomah, a celebrated journalist and key figure at Angel FM, was shot in the face in what ABN has described as a “dastardly act.” Following the attack, he was rushed to the hospital, where he remains in recovery.
In a statement, ABN expressed its support for Kofi and his family, asking for prayers during this difficult time. “Our Director of News Department, Kofi Adomah, is indisposed and has been hospitalized. We wish him the best in his recovery,” the statement read.
To address the speculation and misinformation surrounding the incident, the network has obtained exclusive video evidence, which will air for the first time on the Angel Morning Show on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
ABN hopes that the footage will provide clarity about the circumstances of the attack and reveal the identities of those involved.
