Skyy Football Club have officially confirmed the appointment of Coach Angelo Dedon as their new head coach ahead of the 2025/26 Access Bank Division One League season.
Dedon, the former Ebusua Dwarfs boss, signed a one-year contract with the Daboase-based club on Thursday at exactly 2:00 pm, replacing Bright Lord Ellis at the helm.
In what football fans have playfully described as a “swap deal,” Skyy FC’s former coach has taken charge at Ebusua Dwarfs, while Dedon has now switched from Dwarfs to Skyy.
Interestingly, Dedon was initially close to joining Wamanafo Mighty Royals FC, but reliable sources indicate he had already communicated through intermediaries that he would be heading to Skyy instead.
The experienced tactician is set to officially commence duties with the team on Tuesday or Wednesday as preparations intensify for the new campaign.
Skyy FC will be counting on Dedon’s experience to mount a strong challenge in the upcoming season.
