Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate, has thrown down the gauntlet, challenging former President John Mahama to name one policy he implemented that has positively impacted Ghana.
During his visit to Ketu North in the Volta Region, Bawumia emphasized that his policies are designed to improve lives, and he’s confident in his ability to deliver.
Bawumia boldly stated, “I asked him [Mahama] to name one policy that’s positively impacted Ghanaians, but he couldn’t. Meanwhile, I can list 33 policies from this government that have made a difference.” This statement underscores Bawumia’s commitment to transparency and accountability.
It’s worth noting that Bawumia has a reputation for being corruption-free during his tenure as vice president.
Rev. Dr. Solomon Paintsil of the Assemblies of God Church praised Bawumia’s visionary policies, saying, “With you, it’s possible… Ghana can pride itself on facilities other nations don’t have.”
Bawumia’s track record and policy focus have earned him recognition and support from various stakeholders, including religious leaders and community members.
As the presidential election approaches, Bawumia’s message of improvement and progress is resonating with many Ghanaians.
