Ghanaian football coach, David Ocloo has abandoned his position as Accra Hearts of Oak SC assistant coach, sstvgh.com understands.
The 37-year-old old gaffer who was appointed to deputize Serbian trainer Slavko Matic after parting ways with Samuel Boadu and Hamza Obeng in the course of the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League, has resigned from his role.
He has tendered in a resignation to the management after spending eight months at the Capital-based Premiership team. Ocloo stated personal reasons for leaving the Phobians after striving through a difficult season.
He managed to avoid relegation with Hearts of Oak SC after picking a vital point away to Berekum Chelsea FC in the last fixture of the campaign. However, the side placed 12th on the log after 34 round of matches.
David Ocloo previously worked as WAFA assistant coach before assisting Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum at giant’s Asante Kotoko SC where they won the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League title.
