The 2022-23 MTN FA Cup Champions, Dreams Football Club have parted ways with seven of their first team players ahead of the commencement of 2023-24 league season.
The Dawu-based outfit on Thursday confirmed offloading seven players of the side including goalkeeper Lord Bawa.
The club expressed its profound gratitude for their services while wishing them the best of luck in their future endeavors.
The players are; Samuel Arthur, Lord Bawa, Maxwell Arthur, Kingsley Owusu, Ibrahim Abdulai, Kwabena Gogoe Boahen and Victor Oduro.
According to source, the aforementioned players exhibited gross indiscipline and needed to be shown the exit door for their immaturity.
Dreams will officially kickoff their 2023/24 season in the Preliminary Round of the CAF Confederation Cup against Guinea fold Milo FC De Kankan.
The first leg of the tie is scheduled for Sunday, August 20 in Conakry and the second leg on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Also, the team will kick off the 2023/24 league season against new boys Nations FC at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu between Friday, September 15 to Monday, September 18, 2023.
