Fixtures for 2023-24 BetPawa Premier League announced


The 2023/24 betPawa Premier League fixtures have been released and the schedule for all 306 matches have been confirmed.

The league season will kick off on the weekend of Friday, September 15 to Monday, September 18 at the respective match venues across the country.

League Champions Medeama SC will begin this year’s campaign at home against Accra Lions FC while last year’s Runners up Aduana FC will travel to the Nsenkyire park as guests of FC Samartex.

All newly promoted sides will start the season away from their home grounds with Heart of Lions FC set to renew their rivalry with Asante Kotoko SC at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Other matches on the opening day will see Hearts of Oak travel to Tamale as guests of RTU while Nsoatreman FC take on Bechem United FC in the first Bono Derby of the new season.

The season promises to be exciting with lots of mouthwatering clashes lined up in the subsequent matchdays with rivals Asante Kotoko SC and Hearts of Oak SC set to face each other on Matchday 14 and 31 at the Accra Sports Stadium and the Baba Yara Stadium  respectively.

Nations FC will play their first ever topflight match at their Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex home grounds on Matchday 2 when they come up against FC Samartex.

The first round of the season is expected to end on 29 Dec. 2023 before the league goes on a one-month break to make way for the 2023 African Cup of Nations which will be staged in Cote D’Ivoire from 13 January – 11 February 2024.

The second round of the season will kick off  from  February 23-26, 2024 at the respective match venues.

The curtains will be drawn on the 2023/24 league season on June 15-16, 2024 after the Matchday 34 round of matches.

Due to Television broadcast schedules, Match dates for the respective fixtures would be made public in due course.
