GHALCA announce date for top four competition

The Executive Council of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), has finally confirmed when this season’s top four tournament will be played.

As enshrined in the calender year of Ghana Football, GHALCA does organise off season tournament to usher in a new season after each league campaign. The purpose of the tournament is to offer a preseason platform for the clubs, where they use to access their outfit before fresh season and as well help coaches implement their philosophy or tactics on the team.

Despite, last season’s GHALCA tournament recording six teams as participants, this time around the ExCO chaired by Kudjoe Fiannoo has confirmed only top four finished teams from the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League will participate.

GHALCA has slated to begin tournament on 6th August 2023 and end 13th August, 2023 with Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium hosting it.

The one-week long competition will see Medeama SC, Bechem United and Aduana Stars join Asante Kotoko SC in Kumasi for the off season competition.
