Ghana forward Bernard Mensah complete move to Saudi Arabia side Al-Tai

Black Stars forward Bernard Mensah has completed a sensational move to the Saudi Arabian top-flight after a successful negotiations. He joined on a free transfer after declining contract extension with Turkish giants Kayserispor at the end of 2022-23 league season.

Bernard, 28, is the latest Ghanaian and African player to arrive in the Golf nation after completing a two-year move to Al-Tai.

Bernard Mensah signed a permanent contract with an option to extend for one more year. He is expected to earn approximately 1.7 million euros per season.

The former Getefe and Atletico Madrid forward is expected to improve the attacking department of his new club with his experience.

Mensah is versatile and can be deployed in any of the front line as an attacker.

He stormed Europe in 2012 after joining Vitoria Guimaraes from then Feyenoord but now West African Football Academy (WAFA).

He previously had stint with Kasimpasa and Besiktas.
