GPRTU debunks reports of increase in transport fares

The Ghana Private and Transport Union (GPRTU) has officially addressed the circulating rumors about an impending increase in transport fares.

The union has clarified that they currently have no intention of raising transportation costs. Despite recent adjustments in fuel prices, the GPRTU assures the public that transport fares will remain unchanged until a formal decision is made and communicated.

The national executive of the union urges the public to disregard any false information regarding fare hikes.

Furthermore, the GPRTU extends its gratitude to the public for their support during the recent congress and looks forward to continued cooperation to ensure a smooth operation within the transport sector.
