Greek giant’s PAOK FC confirm Baba Rahman signing

The Greece top-flight have announced the signing of Ghana international Abdul Baba Rahman after several weeks of negotiations.

Baba, a left-footed defender has completed a switch to PAOK FC after having his contract terminated at Chelsea FC despite 12-months left in his contract. He brought to an end his eight(8) stay with the Blues after joining in 2015.

On Monday, Baba inked a three-year contract with PAOK after passing his mandatory medicals in Greece. His contract runs till June 2026.

Baba once again teams up with his former employees permanently in the Greek top-flight for the upcoming season. He spent a season loan from Chelsea in 2021 and helped them clinch the Greek Super League.

The Ghana international joined Chelsea FC in August 2015 from Augsburg in the Bundesliga, making 10 appearance under manager Jose Mourinho but went on loan under Mamager Antonio Conte who preferred Marcos Alonso to him.

He has since, spent the past few years on loan in Europe, playing for Reading F.C., PAOK FC, Stade de Reims, RCD Mallorca and more.
