One thing that keeps the conversation going is the fact that, people keep asking, “how did they get to choose Sarkodie for this project”. In as much most are happy for this feat, others think Sarkodie wasn’t the right choice for the song, and some of their reasons are the usual mantra, “he can’t rap in English” and he’s not a reggae artiste.

Having his bite on this in an interview on “Hitz FM”, Sarkodie revealed that he actually made his verse in 2020, 3 years back, but Bob Marley’s label felt it was right to release it in 2023.The song was released on January 20, 2023 and the buzz ain’t going down any time soon.
