The well-known Ghanaian actor Mr. Beautiful has opened up about his present way of life, revealing that due to the challenging conditions in the country, he has started selling sugarcane and coconuts.
The actor explained how the collapse of the film industry has resulted in significant problems for individuals who are actively participating in the profession in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Property FM.
Some of us who depend on the film business for a living have experienced great challenges as a result of its collapse, he said. “I have turned to selling sugarcane and coconut to survive the difficulties in Ghana brought on by the industry’s decline.”
He also mentioned that the coconuts he sells are grown in his village of Abura Dunkwa, which is in the Central Region.
Mr. Beautiful also stated that celebrities who supported Nana Akufo-Addo’s presidential campaign need to be ashamed of themselves.
He also said that when walking around town, his coworkers should wear “Mayafi” to cover their heads.
