Efya, a musician from Ghana, has said that she is well aware of Blakk Rasta’s current status. Efya asserts that she respects Blakk Rasta for his work and all that he accomplishes.
“Oh yes, I’ll never in my life forget who that man is. When questioned about her remarks on Blakk Rasta a few months ago, she stated in an interview on Asempa FM, “I’II know him every day, forever and ever, and I show respect to him for his career and everything he does.
Blakk Rasta uploaded a section of the interview on his Twitter along with the remark, “Reacting to Efya’s change of heart regarding her knowledge of who he is.”
The love is DEEEEEP… A sister is always a sister @EFYA_Nokturnal Love you always…”
As you may remember, Efya caused quite a stir on social media in February when she claimed to know nothing about Blakk Rasta. Efya was asked to weigh in on Blakk Rasta’s interpretation of Sarkodie’s appearance on Bob Marley’s song during an interview on GhOne TV. The singer reportedly admitted that she is unaware of Blakk Rasta.
The host inquired, “You don’t know Blakk Rasta?” Efya answered, “Who is that? He is an artist? What is he? He is a radio journalist, 23-year-old right?
when the host tells you who Blakk Rasta is? But journalists say whatever they want, she countered. I doubt that I am familiar with him. What sort of radio is that?
The host then brought up one of Blakk Rasta’s well-known songs, “Barack Obama,” which made his name come to mind.
Oh, that witty guy, yes, yes, yes. Right, he sings some amusing songs. God for us all, everyone for himself, Efya said.
With regard to Efya’s remarks, Blakk Rasta wrote, “Sad what DRUGS can do to a beautiful soul. In the name of Jesus, be set free and healed.
Well, it appears that the two have made up now.
