Black Stars forward, Jordan Ayew excel in Crystal Palace preseason friendly against Watford on Saturday.
The Ghana international was in action as Crystal Palace inflicted a 2-1 defeat on English Championship club Watford as part of preparations for upcoming Premier league season. Ayew who started the game assisted one of his side goals that saw them record a preseason win.
Despite, a difficult goalless draw in the first half Crystal Palace exhibited stupendous performance after the break to net twice. Odsonne Edouard opened the scoring for Palace in the 54th minute after connecting from Jordan Ayew’s pass but Edo Kayembe found the back of the net in the 68th minute to restore parity for Watford.
Five minutes after the 70th minute, Odsonne Edouard scored to restore Crystal Palace lead as they cruised to a 2-1 victory.
The Black Stars attacker enjoyed 76′ minutes of action as was replaced by Joel Ward.
Meanwhile, his Ghanaian compatriots of Jeffery Schlupp and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi climbed off the bench to make appearance for Crystal Palace.
