In the Gomoa East District of the Central Region’s Budumburam Camp, a 37-year-old lady was repeatedly stabbed by her boyfriend.
According to sources for Citi News, the incident took place after the boyfriend, Kobby, 37, suspected the girlfriend, Ama Ghana, who is known among her friends, of cheating on him.
Abrefa, the victim’s sister, claimed that the boyfriend had repeatedly complained to her about his girlfriend’s adultery but lost his cool on Thursday after the victim made the decision to quit the relationship.
“My sister’s boyfriend complained over the phone, saying that she had cheated on him. He even complained over the phone to my other sister at Odorkor. He calls too frequently, which makes me irate.
We had agreed to come and settle the problems, but then we understood that he was in love with the girl. We learned that he had stabbed our sister just two weeks later.
According to sources, the suspect injured the woman with a knife while she dozed off late yesterday. At the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, Ama Ghana is presently receiving medical care.
