The reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC has commenced preseason ahead of new league campaign. After few weeks of break, returned to the pitch to begin preparations for the upcoming season.
The players and technical team of the Tarkwa-based outfit regrouped on Monday, 10th July, 2023 for their training programs ahead of 2023/2024 season.
The Mauve and Yellows will be representing Ghana for the first time in the CAF Champions League, having competed twice in the second tier of the CAF inter-club competition as MTN FA Cup winners.
The team begin training with Aerobic endurance session at the Akoon Community Park but not with full house. Notable absentees were, Vincent Atingah, Nurudeen Abdulai, Abaidoo, Baba Musah, youngster Kelvin Nkrumah, who is on national assignment and few others.
The rest of the team, are expected to join this week.
Medeama SC will be led by coach Evans Adotey throughout this period and probably guide to the CAF Champions League competition.
