OJ Blaq has been confirmed dead

OJ Blaq, a Ghanaian musician and actor whose true name was Andy Nii Akrashie, has reportedly passed away, according to terrible news that has just come in today, August 17, 2023.

Many influential figures in the entertainment world and his church, Empowerment Worship Center, where he actively served as a junior pastor, have confirmed his death.

This tragic and horrible revelation has also been confirmed on the social media accounts of his original record label, Lynx Entertainment.

His cause of death has not yet been made public. However, many have speculated that it was probably related to his recent struggle with kidney disease.

Netizens will recall that OJ Blaq had a kidney ailment diagnosis in 2021 and underwent dialysis therapy.

One of the most popular songs in Ghana to this day is OJ Blaq’s 2009 recording of the famous song “Chale Wote.”

He appeared in a couple of films as well as the venerable television series “Suncity.”

OJ Blaq has renounced his previous behavior and became a born-again Christian before his tragic passing away today.

‘Have Your Way’ and a number of other gospel songs were among the ones he released.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.
