After Nigeria, Rwanda has become the second African country to have access to Elon Musk’s Starlink.
Rwanda seek to connect 3,000 schools to Starlink by 2024 through financing from the World Bank and China Exim Bank.
500 schools expected to be connected before the end of March.




Starlink is a satellite internet constellation operated by SpaceX, providing satellite internet access coverage to 49 countries with the inclusion of Rwanda.
Nigerian became the first African country to gain access in January 2023.
Starlink which was launched in 2019 is also aims for global mobile phone service after 2023.
