James Kwesi Appiah, a member of the Asante Kotoko Interim Management Committee, has been elected as one of the five Ghana Premier League positions on the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council.
The former head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana received 10 votes. The other four are Frederick Acheampong, who had 11 votes, Nana Oduro Sarfo, 10 votes, and Randy Abbey, who also had 12 votes.
Kingsley Osei Bonsu and Elleony Amande had 9 votes each and entered into the second round of voting to determine the fifth representative for Premier League clubs on the Executive Council. After the run-off, Kingsley Osei Bonsu got 12 votes, and Elleony Amande had 6.
These are the GFA Premier League EXCO members who will help steer the affairs of Ghana football in the next four years.
