His Majesty Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, the Asante Kotoko life patron, gave his blessing to the technical director, Kwasi Appiah, to accept the position of head coach of the Sudan national team.
After seeing Kwesi Appiah in London, His Majesty granted him his approval.
However, Mr. Appiah will continue in his position as Kotoko’s Technical Director. In this capacity, he will run in the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council elections the following month.
As Kotoko attempts to restructure the team, the seasoned technical mind—who twice coach the Black Stars between 2013 to 2014 and 2017 – to 2019 is anticipated to lead Kotoko’s technical direction to build a formidable team.
Kotoko will play Karela United on Sunday, 1st October, 2023, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi at exactly 3:00 pm Gmt
